Tripling ULTEM™ 9085 output for a nine-month program
The challenge
A customer had to produce hundreds of ULTEM 9085 parts within nine months. They ran two Fortus 400mc systems but needed six running at once. Buying four more meant a large capital spend and idle machines after the run.
The solution
Pivot rented them four Fortus 400mc systems, delivered and installed in two weeks. For the final three months they needed four more, so we ran those at our facility for them, saving installation, electrical and shipping costs.
