Do i lose factory warranty or support?

Most warranties come with free service and parts for the duration of the warranty. We are not authorized by any OEM, so our service is performed outside of the warranty period in lieu of expensive OEM maintenance contracts.

What about factory software update?

Most robust production systems don’t require software updates. If you are currently running well, future software updates are not likely needed. Factory software updates can generally be purchased ala carte from the OEMs. You will need to evaluate if the offered update actually adds value or efficiency to your equipment.

Are custom materials available?

Our experienced technical staff can assist in writing custom material parameters for custom materials to optimize part printing in FDM, SLA, and SLS technologies.

Can you support multiple systems and sites?

Yes, we offer a variety of maintenance contract options that suit your business. For multiple system sites, we offer customized and discounted contracts.

Do you have the spare parts available to perform the service?

We know that to provide excellent service, we must have access to parts in a timely manner. We understand the systems and stock the necessary parts to keep your downtime to a minimum.

Can pivot provide us materials?

We offer the Argyle line of materials for FDM systems. We currently have ABS, PC-ABS, and Ultem in inventory. We also have used SLA material periodically and verify that it meets specifications for use. Our prices can greatly reduce your material costs and increase margin.

FDM 3D Printer Maintenance

Preventative Maintenance (PM) is the best way to assure your equipment is in top working order with the best possible productivity. Let experienced Pivot AM Service Engineers maximize the up-time of your production Stratasys® FDM equipment.

Various packages are available to meet your maintenance needs, including annual PM contracts with scheduled visits, basic visits with DIY support, and one-time emergency repair. Contracted maintenance customers also receive access to our large-frame production Fortus® equipment during machine down time. This partnership keeps your production needs fulfilled even when your equipment is down.

SELECT
Our SELECT entry level package includes two on-site visits from a Service Engineer to perform a Preventative Maintenance service. Plus it includes unlimited phone support!
CHOICE
CHOICE plan is our DIY hybrid option, covering parts and repairs and receive priority service scheduling. The Preventative Maintenance items are provided and your in-house technician performs the service. A Pivot Service Engineer supplies emergency service within two business days.
PRIME
This top of the line PRIME contract gives you the most assurance. Two Preventative Maintenance visits are included, plus replacement print heads and software updates.

Time and materials is also available on all production Fortus™ machines, including Fortus™ 360mc, 380mc, 400mc, 450mc, 900mc and F900. Our technicians are certified to work on both classic and plus systems.

Additionally, Pivot buys / sells, de-installs / moves / re-installs FDM machines and sells discounted materials and accessories.

Depot Repairs

Pivot offers depot repair of Fortus components. Request a quote and we will explain the next steps in the process. You will need to ship your part(s) to the Pivot shop, we will work on your depot repair, and return as soon as it’s completed. Pivot AM Service is truly the ONLY one stop shop in the Additive Manufacturing industry.
