One of our Field Service Engineers left Pella, IA on a Monday morning, drove five hours away then got to work fixing a bunch of Fortus 400mc and Fortus 900mc FDM 3D printers. Our customer gave us a laundry list of problems many minor issues, some larger issues like a 900mc Y axis linear bearing that was coming apart. After four full days on site and two half days driving we had 10 Stratasys Fortus 3d printers fixed-up, tuned-up and calibrated. In other words we averaged 2.5 machines repaired per on site workday because we have: the expertise, training, knowledge, spare parts and laser focus.
